Bishop Ed Akers and Pastor Brent Powell dedicated this church which was constructed with VLI funds. At one time, the area had been a Muslim stronghold, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ is stronger and today people gather to worship God.

Bishop Ed dedicates the radio station to the glory of Jesus Christ. The plaque he holds will hang in the station indicating the names of VLI Founders who contributed to its building. VLI will continue to support the ongoing work of the station.

On June 6, 2022, Bishop Ed began a program of mentoring for these Philippine students and pastors. They will dedicate a full year of studying for the purpose of establishing them as strong leaders, pastors, and teachers.
